Walk & Talk Therapy in Whitstable & Kent Coast
If life feels busy, overwhelming, or mentally exhausting, it can be hard to find space to think clearly.
Walk & Talk Therapy offers a different way to do therapy — side by side, outdoors, moving gently through calm routes in Whitstable, Tankerton, Seasalter, and surrounding Kent areas. Walk and talk therapy also takes place in Regents Park, Marylebone, London near my Harley Street Clinic room.
Many people find that walking makes conversation feel easier, less pressured, and more natural. It creates space to talk without the intensity of sitting face-to-face in a room.
What is Walk and Talk Therapy?
Walk & Talk Therapy is exactly what it sounds like — we walk together in a quiet outdoor setting while talking through what’s going on for you.
Sessions are structured but informal in feel. There is no pressure to talk in any particular way, and we move at a pace that feels comfortable.
This approach can suit people who:
-
Think more clearly when they are in motion
-
Feel overwhelmed in traditional therapy settings
-
Struggle to relax in a clinical room environment
-
Prefer a more natural, less formal way of talking
The focus is always on helping you make sense of what’s going on and finding a way forward that feels manageable.

Who is Walk and Talk therapy for?
This approach may be helpful if you are experiencing:
-
Anxiety or constant overthinking
-
Stress or burnout
-
Feeling stuck or mentally “foggy”
-
Low mood or lack of motivation
-
Life changes or uncertainty
-
Feeling overwhelmed by day-to-day demands
You don’t need to have everything clearly worked out before starting. Most people begin therapy while still trying to understand how they feel.

About me and my approach
I have been leading walks in nature since 2009. I am an experienced walker and try to get out walking in nature around Kent every day for my own wellbeing and enjoyment. Since qualifying as a clinical hypnotherapist with Solution Focused psychotherapy I have been able to combine the talking therapy aspects of Solution Focused therapy and walking in nature for the benefit of my clients to deliver Solution Focused Walking Therapy.
My approach is calm, practical, and solution-focused.
Rather than spending sessions going over everything in detail, we focus on:
-
Where you are now
-
Where you would like to be
-
What small steps might help you move forward
Sessions are structured but flexible, and always led at your pace.
The aim is not to overwhelm you with information, but to help you leave with a clearer sense of direction.
